Lashunda McDowell

Greetings! My name is Lashunda Mcdowell, a 40-year-old mother of three. I have accumulated 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, evolving from a medical assistant to a licensed nurse. In my leisure time, I have always been fond of DIY projects, which eventually led me to create party props and decorations. For six years, I organized and adorned parties, with my clients persistently encouraging me to become a professional party planner. However, other areas of my life had taken precedence over my own ambitions. I redirected my focus toward pursuing my aspirations.
Presently, I possess two storage units overflowing with party decor and props, which have also taken up residence in my home and backyard. After legalizing my business name and finding a mentor, I actively searched for a dedicated space to host parties and store supplies. Upon discovering the ideal location and negotiating terms, my vision for the space broadened. With access to a wealth of props, I incorporated a photography studio within the event area. As we live in a digital era where people relish capturing memories through photographs, this addition serves as excellent marketing for my business while allowing me to continue doing what fills me with joy – decorating and customizing unique spaces for others to express themselves.

While my professional accomplishments are important to me, my greatest source of pride is my role as a loving and devoted mother to three wonderful children. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I'm grateful to call Antioch, California, our Home
